INCREASE OF CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY FUND

We are happy to announce that the emergency fund for corona-related applications has been boosted with yet another generous grant from VKR Holding. The emergency fund now amounts to DKK 6 million (before tax) to support any employee, regardless of seniority, affected by the consequences of the corona virus beyond those within the employer’s responsibility.

The Employee Foundation has unique possibilities to bring consolation in an extremely difficult situation unlike anything we have ever tried.

We would like to make it very clear that all employees and their immediate families, who are tested positive for the corona can receive a grant as an encouragement. Even with only mild symptoms, the illness may create anxiety and stress, and the Employee Foundation wants to recognise this by a grant.

Do you have queries, please do not hesitate to contact your local recommendation committee or the Employee Foundation secretariat employee@vkr-holding.com. Send your online application by https://vkr.onlinelegat.dk/brugerlogon.aspx?bruger

GENEROUS GIFT BOOSTS SUPPORT FOR CORONA VICTIMS

In consequence of the serious developments of the Corona virus, Employee Foundation of the VKR Group last week decided to give priority to support employees who are affected by the situation. Therefore, an emergency fund of DKK 1 million was established.

We are extremely happy to announce a generous offer of DKK 4 million from the Kann Rasmussen family shareholders and VKR Holding to further boost the efforts of the Employee Foundation.

Therefore, a special-purpose fund, now worth DKK 5 million (before tax), is dedicated to help any employee, regardless of seniority, who is affected by the consequences of Corona virus beyond those within the employer’s responsibility.

The specific fast track for all applications related to Corona virus will help handling applications and queries (employee@vkr-holding.com or your local recommendation committee). Apply here.

VOLUNTARY WORK – NEW GRANT AREA

Many families across the world cannot afford a decent home. They live in overcrowded and unhealthy conditions without hope for the future of having a decent home.

In 2020, the Employee Foundation launches a brand-new initiative, where employees in the VKR Group can help poor families build their own home. All you need is to volunteer to do a week’s work and help build a home!

In collaboration with Habitat for Humanity, a leading international housing NGO, we give employees in the VKR Group the possibility of making a difference for poor families by building hope and homes.  Read here for more information.
